Muscle and back pains can be treated with conventional pain-relievers, such as acetylsalicylic acid or acetaminophen, and possibly also with ibuprofen or diclofenac.
Drugs which are also used in epilepsy, such as carbamazepine, gabapentine or antidepressives, like amitriptyline, are helpful in the case of paroxysmal pains.
